About Tom
I was born June 2, 1949, at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Hammond, Indiana. Dad moved us from Alice Street in Hammond to Homerlee Avenue in East Chicago when I was only three or four years old, and then in November of 1955, when I was six years old, we moved to 6432 Woodward Avenue in Hammond. That is where I spent the rest of my childhood, and it is where virtually all of my childhood memories reside. What a wonderful childhood it was! I would not change a thing about it.
